Pack Hike Day Camp is an alternative to traditional dog daycare for dogs who thrive being outdoors, with clear guidance, and balanced social interaction.
Dogs take part in group hikes, practice foundational obedience, and learn appropriate social behavior within a well-managed pack, helping reduce stress and over-arousal while supporting your dog’s physical, mental, and emotional well-being.
With consistent leadership and thoughtful pacing, dogs return home fulfilled and relaxed.

The Process of Welcoming a New Dog:
Once you reach out, we’ll schedule a 60-minute meeting to get to know your dog, answer questions, and assess fit. We’ll take a walk together and give your dog time to explore the van in a calm, low-pressure setting. Walking together helps build trust and allows your dog to get comfortable with our routine and environment.
We carefully consider the dynamics of our pack, by pairing dogs based on temperament and energy level, we strive to create balanced groups where all dogs can thrive.
Rainy Weather & Holidays
Pack Hike Day Camp operates in all weather conditions and on most holidays. If weather or trail conditions ever make a hike unsafe, we’ll notify you as far in advance as possible.
Cancellations are rare , this may occur a few times per year for Saturday hikes and typically once per year (or less) for weekday hikes.
What We Do When It’s Hot
On hot days, we slow the pace and choose shadier trails or travel to trails with seasonal streams to help dogs stay cool. We take frequent water and rest breaks and closely monitor dogs that are prone to overheating.
Our van is insulated, well ventilated, and climate-controlled, with added airflow from a rooftop vent. When needed, we keep coats and blankets damp to support cooling. Heat safety is always a top priority.

Boarding at Dog Day Hotel
Your dog will feel right at home with us! They’ll be treated like part of the family , getting plenty of love, fun playtime in the yard, and some peaceful moments to relax. We create a calm, caring environment where your pup can unwind and feel completely at ease.

Please note:

Boarding is exclusively available for dogs who are actively part of our regular hiking or walking program. We believe in creating a familiar and comfortable environment, so the dogs are well-acquainted with one another, promoting a happy and enjoyable stay.
In-Home Dog Sitting
For dogs who prefer the familiarity and consistency of staying in their own home. We come and stay with your pup while you're away. Daily updates with photos.
