A Healthy Pack Experience
Pack Hike gives your dog the chance to get outside, exercise, explore, and spend time with a familiar group of dogs. They hike, sniff, play, and discover new surroundings while simply enjoying the company of other dogs. These shared experiences help dogs become comfortable with one another, build trust, and develop lasting relationships with their packmates.
Keeping our packs consistent gives dogs the chance to become familiar with Tom and their packmates over time. That consistency builds trust and strengthens relationships between Tom and every dog in the pack.
Along the way, we reinforce practical skills like loose-leash walking, impulse control, recall foundations, and long-line work. There's plenty of time to sniff, explore, socialize, and simply enjoy a couple of hours on the trail.
A Typical Pack Hike
8:00–9:30 AM — Pickup
Dogs are picked up from home and transported to the trail.
9:30–11:30 AM — Pack Time
Hiking, exploring, socializing, and practicing everyday skills while enjoying time together on the trail.
11:30 AM–1:00 PM — Drop-Off
Dogs are returned home after their outing.
*During peak summer months, hikes start earlier for the safety and comfort of the dogs.
