A Simple Idea
Dog Day Hikes was founded in 2012 with one simple idea:
Dogs need more than exercise. They need time outdoors to explore, socialize, and simply enjoy being dogs.
More Than a Walk
Over the years, our hikes have grown from 60 minutes, to 90 minutes, and now to Pack Hike Day Camp. We've found that giving dogs more time outdoors allows them to settle into the hike, spend more time in nature, and interact with other dogs in a relaxed, natural way.
Every dog is different. While many dogs thrive with the extended experience of Pack Hike Day Camp, others are better suited to our 90 Minute Pack Hikes. Both are built around the same approach—giving dogs time outdoors, carefully matched companions, and a safe, enjoyable experience.
Every pack is carefully matched based on temperament, energy level, and social style to help create a relaxed, enjoyable experience for every dog.

Always Learning
We're always looking for ways to learn and improve. Tom Rollason is currently enrolled in the Method K-9 Level 1 Certification Program. He has also attended Brian Agnew's Drives Workshop in Utah, and has attended the Hollywood Dog Obedience Club program with one of his own pack dogs, who earned the AKC Canine Good Citizen (CGC) title.
